Exploring the beauty of the Atlantic Drive and Murder Hole Beach on the Rosguill Peninsula. To access Murder Hole Beach on an e-bike from e-Bikes Downings you must travel along the Atlantic Drive from Downings Village. Along the loop of the Atlantic Drive you will enjoy the scenery and viewing points of the Mulroy Bay and the Isle of Roy, the Harry Blaney Bridge connecting Carrigart and Fanad Peninsula to the east side and on the west side of the Atlantic Drive you can see Horn Head, Tory Island as well as the spectacular views Muckish and Errigal.
Murder Hole Beach is a hidden gem located at the most northerly point of the Rosguill Peninsula. There is a new car-parking facilities (€5 fee) and a walking track to the Murder Hole Beach from the Melmore Caravan Park. The beach is stunning, with golden sand, high rocks on the east side, and beautiful green hills of the mountain on the west side. Visitors to Murder Hole are treated to beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean and Horn Head in the distance. Swimming is not recommended due to the strong currents.
